When i took the tires off mine it worked real nice to pry the ring off without WD-40 because with WD-40 i'd get the ring so far then the pry bar would slip and the ring would fall back down but without WD-40 when the prybar would slip the rust on the ring and rim would grab so it wouldn't fall down so then i'd just take another crack and then it would come off, that and when you pry on the ring make sure your prybar is in the square notched opening and not one thats a long curved slot (pryed there on my first one and it would never come so out came the WD-40 then i found the square notch and it still wouldn't come cause the WD-40 makes everything slip)
