Great info. Stupid me, I looked on the chart and saw mine was out of an 83 s10 with the .86 overdrive instead of .72 overdrive, which is what my seller told me. Anyway, is there any way to replace the overdrive gear I have already with a new one (.72 od)? Is it just a matter of replacing the assorted gearsets for 5th gear to make it .72 od? I'm already in there overhauling it
