Rule in my house anyway: "no driver's licence if you can't drive a stick". My oldest daughter fought this rule tooth and nail - my youngest one can't wait to drive a stick. You never know when you are gonna have to drive someone else's car in an emergency and it will be a stick.
And you're right about the truck. I defintiely thought it might as well have some personality - something different from every other truck on the road. That and I have a soft spot for vintage tin. Currently, along with the truck, we provide food and shelter for a 1953 Belair 2-door, a '71 VW convertible, and a '69 GTO convertible. I'm hopeless!
