My '61 retains the Rochester with the stock choke and throttle cable and works very nicely. There are enough Rochesters out there to create a large knowledge base, and therefore you should be able to have what you want. A good running stock carb that doesn't leak fuel. You can pick up a professionally rebuilt one from any number of vendors AND have a warranty with it if it does puke out the gas.(90 days typical) Have fun. | | |
