I am not using wheel spacers, the wheels are steel and I modified my tie-rods and steering arms to fit, i now have about 1/4" of clearance between the wheel and the tie-rod ends. These wheels have exactly 3/8" inch difference from the ones that were on it which I am not sure were originals since they were 15" splits on the front and 16" splits on the back. I gained almost 1/2" per side by getting away from the old tie rod ends. I bought a new tie-rod and ends but I am going to go the speedway route and retrofit a new custom tie-rod and ends also new drag link same style from them.I drove the old studs out as others have suggested by grinding off the nut side and drilling out the center, they then popped right out.
