Tried to do a little research on some of my engine numbers. I'm amazed at the amount of misinformation on the internet and books. Take my cylinder heads...please. Try to research casting #3767460. On one site it's for a 283 from '59-'60, another site 327 '62-'64, another 265/283/327 from '55-'67, and I could go on. The casting date is from 1959, and I know they're on a 283 block, so I'll go with the site that says they're from a 283.
