If you have a short water pump you may have to change to the long one. My 71 C-30 hangs off a boss on the water pump. But that will cause you to have to change all your pulleys. You may want to visit some wrecking yards and see if you can find a complete drive system. buying pieces can get frustrating for sure get one that is complete. Hope you find a simple solution.
