Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Mar 2004 Posts: 154 Member | | Member Joined: Mar 2004 Posts: 154 | you would have to fabricate a center egg-crate piece; that is, about the onl way i see it possible, is to cut out the middle bar (where the bowtie goes on the '67-'68 grill) and then add in your center piece of choice.
otherwise, as far as just bolting the '71 grill on; nope. the '69 and up fenders have a lip on them for the aluminum grill surround to go over.
maybe GMC fenders? as they're the same shape as the '67-'68 fenders, but have the lip for the aluminum surround?
i dunno. i have no experience with GMCs.
