some one has been in this carb before. The metering rod plunger has a rod next to it in the bore that fits into a slot in the plunger there is a small hole in one end of the rod It was not connected to anything? is it suppose to be or does it just ride up and down the bore, pushed up from the underside?? hope you can make sense of the discription. The accelerator pump is ok, and the carb looks pretty clean. I think the problem was induced by the last person here. I wish I had a diagram/exploded view of one of these carbs.
