My 1970 292/6 has a monojet carb. Every time I start it, if it sits more than a few hours.I have to prime it with gas to get it to start.It seems like the carb is leaking down and emptying the bowl out into the manifold. I know the old 4bbls use to leak from the bowl and we use to epoxy them. Is it the same problem with the monojets? The carb is still on the truck so I can move it around. I am going to get a kit and go through it, Just wanted to know if there was anything to look out for?
