Denny, I'm sorry to not be able to post pictures, I don't have any camera or capability to do so but I will do my best to describe my cable oiler. It is a plastic cylinder similar to a hypodermic needle casing and the "needle" end is a connector with a slot in it to slip over the cable and has a soft seal to go against the casing so the lubricant will be forced into the inside and around the cable. It really works great. I'd suggest going to an offroad motorcycle shop to buy one, that's where I got mine. Incidentally they are cheap, as I remember mine only cost a couple dollars. Since I mostly used synthetic oil in my bikes that's what I used in the oiler. Just for kicks the other day I went to an old dirt bike of mine that I haven't ridden in about 20 years, the cables still work smoothly. I had new e-brake cables made for my '54 GMC 100 and gave them a shot before installing, they work as smooth as warm butter on a baby's butt.
