You can unbolt the tranny and slide it back. Since there are no tranny mounts on the AD truck you will either have to block it up or lay it on the floor. Then the engine will come out with the hood off, provided your hoist goes high enough to clear the radiator support. Pull the radiator first, so you don't damage it. Removing the bell housing/clutch is easiest with the engine out of the truck, I usually lay the engine on it's side on sawhorses for that.
