On my 58, the tube is 6 3/4 inches long (though it could have been 7 as I didn't lean all the way into the engine bay to read it), the dipstick is 16 inches from tip to stop, the low mark is 1 1/4 inces from the tip, and the full mark is 5/8 inches from the low mark.
