Ed Taylor Apprentice E Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 15 Cedar Hill,Texas	I have 2 1939 1/2 tons with the orginal running gear in them. One has the 4 speed and one has the 3 speed. The 4 speed was used as a highway truck the best that I can findout. The 3 speed was a ranch truck. One would assume that what ever was available was what was used.
