I agree, if you are going to swap don't go with a V8, everyone has one. I find that I hardly look at the v8 swapped AD trucks at shows. Many of the swaps are fairly crude and ugly. I would rather look at a dirty looking original 6 cylinder than a butchered V8 in most cases.
If you need to swap try something different, like a diesel. You can make more power than a stock and even mild gas engine if you please and with better fuel economy.
