Congrats on your "new addition"! From the pictures it does look fixable, and know you will get lots of enjoyment out of the restoration. I too live in a subdivision (and county) that don't allow unlicensed vehicles, and I do understand SOMEWHAT why this is enforced. A few uncaring neighbors can turn your subdivision into a junkyard real quick, and lower your property values, if not controlled. I too came home with my '56 in not a whole lot better shape than yours. It did run, and was licensed, so not a whole lot was said. When I did get ready to have the restoration done, the truck was taken to a shop in another county. After a couple years, it came home looking like it drove off the assembly line, and NO ONE has complained about the "old truck" sitting in my driveway. The neighbors are in "awe" that it's the same truck I originally came home with. Wish you lots of luck with your truck, and will be looking forward to pictures as it goes along.
