Just to update....
I got everything sorted by a pal at a machine shop. The shaft itself had quite a groove worn into it by the clutch pedal lever ,probably from never seeing any lube. So my pal and me decided that we'd turn down the shaft to fit the bushing and ended up taking off about .035" and now everything fits great and is all even and round and darn near perfect , thanks all for the suggestions
