I had a 72 three on the tree that the previous owner had took apart and greased, couldnt even shift it in cold weather, took it back apart and cleaned it, loaded it with graphite powder, shifted like a dream after that!mabe the powder would disseapear after awhile but i sold the truck 3 years later and never had another problem...just my thoughts.tom
