1935-1967 GM use either B-10 or B-11 blanks, and may be available at hardware stores.
When I locked my keys in the trunk of a 1970 Pontiac about 25 years ago, I removed the glove box lock cylinder, and the local GM dealer made me a new key from the number on the lock. The same thing can be done by removing the ignition lock cylinder.
