The 52 spare carrier is different from what those guys are talking about.
Those spare carriers are about as rare as hens teeth. Odd, since they were a stock item. My theory is they all disappeared because they were such a pain the the arse. Once you take the spare down, putting it back was a major chore, so most just threw the spare in the bed and the hanging down hardware in the dump. So now if you find any, they will be very expensive. I have the carrier for my 49 1/2 ton, but have never seen the carrier for a 3/4 ton. But they are different, since there is a drawing of both in my Master Parts Catalog. If any of you guys want a copy of that page, pm me your email address or fax number.
