I haven't read much here about folks with in tank fuel pumps but I've seen enough problems to hate them. As a parttime parts delivery job its amazing how many of those sorry sap suckers we deliver. THEN, Friday, my own 2000 Silverado died. I tried the fuel filter first but I knew in my heart what it was. So, $268 later I got it running again. You just never know, and what a pain to replace. Some cars now have a "trapdoor" inside the trunk to access them. For me it was easier to raise the bed and pull it back a couple feet and change the pump than take the tank off. It took 1 1/2 hours on mine. I know the parts makers have to be smiling making all these replacements. GRRRRRrrrrrrr

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you smile
