I imagine some differences are from changes through the years, and others may be from different tooling and equipment or processes at the various manufacturing plants.
I plan on taking lots of pictures, and keeping notes on my Art Decos, once I get started.
I agree with you, that is part of the fun. All of the research one can pursue, turns a basic restoration project into a hobby with a passion.
I am still working on my building, I hope to get started on mine this winter.
