Hello folks, I've got a glass bowl in-line fuel filter I'd like to put on my '46, 216, Carter w-1 carburetor. I've seen people put these next to the carburetor, but shouldn't it be down below connected to the fuel pump? I'd like to put it up on top next to the carb where I can see it, but when I'd change the filter, gas would drip on the manifold. Anybody know where it was originally?
