For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Sep 2006 Posts: 4 Junior Member | | Junior Member Joined: Sep 2006 Posts: 4 | I have found lots of information on this site as a guest but I have a carb question that I haven't found an answer.
I have a 53 Chevy pickup which I like to play around with although I'm much less mechanically inclined than many of the members here.
My present problem is that I'm rebuilding a Carter YF carb which was going well enough except that I have a ball to include in the reassembly and I'm unsure of where it belongs. It isn't the ball that is held under the acceleration pump cover. I'm sure that it is probably an easy answer but this is the first time that I've worked on a carburetor. Thanks! | | |
