Anonymous Unregistered A	They stand for the weight capacity of the truck. 3100 is 1/2 ton, 3200 is 3/4 ton etc. Do not think these designations mean anything in regards to your 40. Could be incorrect though. Not that familiar with pre AD trucks. Probably just coincidence between the weight of your truck and the 3100 designation of the AD series.
