Yeah, the fuel filter bowl is the original glass type, as is the air filter as far as I know. It has this weird batting filter media and you fill it with about a half a quart or so of oil. I
think it is original, but then again, it might be just "old" or "period."
I think you should post pictures and update as you can. There are some pretty "rustic" trucks out there, but each have their own charm. It will also remind you just how far you've come.
