There are three screws on the back side of the dash that holds the speedometer onto the back of the cluster. Pull those screws and the cable, and you should be good to go.
My 46 is leaky, too. I am going to have to drain the transmission and pull the rear off of my transmission anyway to fix the speedometer drive unit, so I just figured that I'd replace seals and gaskets then. | | |
