Help! I'm starting to put my 1948 1/2 ton Chev. body on an S-10 chassis. I'd like to know some average heights for the frames.I neglected to measure the 'loaded' frame height of the '48 before removing the body and drive train. I bought the S-10 frame only so it is sitting rather high. I'm trying to determine how high I should mount the body above the frame. I want to lower the truck body by 3 to 4 inches, but don't want it down "in the weeds". Crawl under your trucks and give me some measurements please!
