Well, after a year of lurking around the site, I have finally acquired my own stovebolt (2 of them in fact!).
I was able to bring home a '57 GMC one-ton (9' box) pickup (missing front sheetmetal and drivetrain, but has a beautiful, almost rust free cab and box) as well as a '59 Chevy 3/4 ton (8' box) pickup. Both trucks are stepsides.
Oh yeah, 2 trucks delivered from 60 miles away for $ 1300.00!
I'm planning on moving the front sheet metal from the '59 onto the '57 (love the quad headlights!)
I finally consider myself a true-blue stovebolter!
