Hi,

Easy one for you guys -- In the early V8 years where the front motor mount was a U shaped bracket that fastened to the front crossmember, did v8 trucks come from the factory with the I6 motor mounting point rivetted to the crossmember too, or was that omitted on v8s?

I'm preparing the front crossmember of my truck. I've got 2 crossmembers, but both were from original I6s.
