I'm using some of that new
'hammertone' spray paint on the dash. It looks neat. When dry, it looks like thousands of little hammer-blows massaged the metal. Be careful not to spray on a lot at once. It tend to run if applied too thick.
I also found a spray can of the exact same dark flecked color the dash originally had.
