Okay! Here's the deal. My '47 is a cab/chasis only. No motor or tranny. The cab has a lot of rust and to repair it properly I will have to remove it from the frame. I want to rod this one (since I have a '54 4100 thats stock) by putting in a 350 and auto trans. It seems logical to me to reframe it with something that is already set up for a V8 than to subframe with a camero and ruin a perfectly good '47 frame that someone else could use. BTW Smittys54 it's good to see another Oklahoma Bolter on the site.
