I am getting ready to start on the '47 3100 1/2 ton shortbed. I really would like to do a complete frame swap to a later V8, disc brake frame. I need to know what chevy truck frames will match up width and wheel base with the '47 short bed. That is without too much modification. I know this has probably been discussed 100's of times in this forum but I've searched and with my limited computer skills I cannot find what I need. I know you guys/gals can point me in the right direction. Thanks!
