freedo: yes, but i have been busy. i think im just going to use mine and paint it or get another year.
gazim: yes, that was my original intention. i believe the article i posted above gives me all the info I need. 1inch should go fairly fast to just do the gauge cluster, if i can find someone with a press i can use. i think i will go the dowell rod/lapping grease version. i'll let ya'll know how it comes out if i get to it.
