I agree FLA54. I believe that 180 is best, but we have to consider that different cars do have different recommended temps. That is why I did not specify a particular temp. I recommended staying close to the factory recommendations and suggested that the factory settings not be adjusted much either way.
If you put too high temp of a thermostat and you have a zero pressure cap, you will be boiling over more often.
