Cujo,the bushing is the same a a Chevy V-8, .592 inside , 1.094 outside, about .75 long.I've always been told to oil the bushing only, grease supposedly clogs the pores,but I don't know for sure.
The grease or Playdough works just fine,some guys thread in a 3/8 pipe tap, attach it to a slide hammer.
