With my ongoing radial tires/versus stock rim size battle I have found some aftermarket steelies from a well known company that are 16 x 6". They will not take my stock hub cap but they are brand new, welded rims with a safety bead. My question is about the 6" rim width and how, if any ill effect, it would have on my stock spindles and rear axle? The tires would be 215-85R16.
