I believe Stockton Wheel could weld later model rims on your existing wheels and solve your problem. That is what I did on my truck in order to have disc brakes and keep my stock wheels and hubcaps, because I ran into the offset issue with my stock rims and not enough clearance for the caliper.
I know mine are 15"s not 16", but I would think they would have a 16" rim that would work with your existing wheel. It would be worth a phone call.
