| | | | Joined: Sep 2005 Posts: 254 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Sep 2005 Posts: 254 | i'm in the process of switching a 64 chevy pickup body onto a 78 suburban frame and the steering shaft is about 2 in. to long now i'm putting a body lift in but i'm thinking that the steering shaft is still going to be to long and probly not angled right how sould i shorten this steering rod? or would it maybe be best just to swap in a newer style column out of like a 70 chevy pickup or 78 suburban?
