No, it kinda rests on the rubber window seal. The sheet metal I used for the bracket bends pretty easily, so you can get it where ya want it. After some hard driving today,
I found that it does not move. I was worried that it would, so I got the strongest magnet at the hardware store. No problems yet. Gotta get out and put some more miles on it and get back to you with solid report.
That's a good idea about anchoring it to the seat bracket. I bet that would work.
