1 tons and up had a "flat frame" in back with no hump over the rear axle... so that makes it correct for being 1 ton or larger.
The 18" wheels... well I'm not a pro on this year truck but that usually means it's a 1 1/2 or 2 ton truck.
Nice looking truck. For $450 it's worth it, IMHO.
Figure out what you want to do with it. If you want an original restoration, then you have lots of rare parts to find and buy (big $). If you want a resto/mod then your parts will be cheaper and it will be a more user friendly truck for todays roads. If you want a hot rod... well sell it and buy a 1/2 ton.
