Can’t believe I never stumbled onto this site before. I guess I spend more time looking up parts and info on my ’53 Hudson than my ‘ol truck. I’ve had it 20 years now. All my kids grew up riding in it. It was my daily driver for the first 5-6 years. Drove it from San Diego to Wisconsin when we moved in 1990. (Camper shell in back, wife, two babies and pulling a trailer with everything we owned it) Moved the family (now 4 kids) back to San Diego in 1997. I flew back to Wisconsin just to get it and drove it out to SD (by myself this time). Drove it to Missouri in 2003 when we moved again, so I know it well. It’s a 1950 5 window, 3100 short bed. Has a 1965 Buick 300 V8, TH350, Nova rear, AMC Pacer front clip, PS, PDB, Cruise, Power windows, tilt wheel, AM/FM/CD w/amps and Subwoofer.
It’s off line now for the first time in years due to needing to overhaul the AMC suspension. Man, AMC parts are a b**ch to find!
Looks like a cool site, I’ll have to do some nosin’ around and see what’s here.

The reason we ask for a LINK to a picture (rather than posting the image itself):
1) it affects our bandwidth (which is costly)
2) it makes the page download slower (which really affects people on dial-up, and we've got a lot of them)
3) some European users have to "pay by the byte" (and we don't want to do that to them ... especially after they've seen the image once already!)
And a side benefit -- you can post a link to as big a picture as you like and it won't affect the rest of the posts in that thread!
