Well, 15 years ago when I put it in there was not as much to pick from. Gets you nice big disc brakes (Truck stops better than my wife’s ’99 Caravan) Power steering and it rides and handles much better. I drove this as my daily with the straight axle and drum brakes in San Diego rush hour traffic for 5 years. It was like night and day when I switched over to it. Now, with all the stuff available for these trucks I would do it different.
