I always think about the fact that I bought my '50 3100 in 1977 for $150.00. Last year I bought a pair of perfect original front fenders for $400.00 blasted and primed. I see running generally stock and unrestored trucks here in the paper going for $2,500.00 to $8,000.00 depending on condition. The rusted and/or basket cases are going for $400.00 to a grand. (I have a friend here that buys these trucks and easily parts them out for at least hundreds if not thousands of dollars worth of parts. The sum is really worth more than the whole.) Check your local paper and ebay locally and see what they are going for. Good sheetmetal gets a premium. Look at the standard rot out places, cab corners, cowls, etc. Finally, being family and all, no matter what the price the issue will be debated forever, "you know I paid too much for that truck" "b.s. I practically gave it to you." Good luck,
