The only time I had "trouble" finding a way to get something home was when I bought my Bulldozer. I had a guy in town that hauls farm equipment with his 1 ton Dodge V-10 and a gooseneck dual wheel dual axle trailer. Even though he was lisenced to the max, we were still 5000 pounds over weight. We waited until early evening to haul it to help avoid the DOT, and he hauled it home with the promise that I would pay the fines if need be. I have a triple axle trailer but the truck I used to pull it with is now under construction. I have a ramprod truck project in the works but it's on the back burner so far I can't even see it yet. Depending on how far away it is, I've had them towed home too. I keep friends in all lines of work so I can trade favors with them.
