On a few of the pictures I have seen of the 1946 chevy trucks, I noticed a toolbox that looks like it is mounted on the running board. At first i figured someone just modified their ride to have one, but then I saw it on a rough farm find, rusted up the same as the restored ones. Is this an item that belongs on the truck as original options or is it just coincidence that more than one person had it?
