In the last 58 years your trucks could have had many parts swapped around so there's no real way to tell exactly what you have. If it has a single speed rear it's more than likely a 1 1/2 ton. Most 2 tons had the 2 speed rears. Most 1 1/2 tons started out with 7.50 x 20' tires on them with about a 5' wide rim. 8.25 x 20's x a 6" rim for the 2 tons. The term "Loadmaster" also usually indicated a 1 1/2 ton. I'm not an expert on this since I've never had a 2 ton so some of this info mat be flawed.
To find out what engine you have, find a flat spot on your block just above and in front of your starter. Clean this area well with a wire brush and list those numbers on this post and we'll try to decipher them for you.
