I understand what you are saying, but I have seen many of the older years of the AD's with the "Five Windows" (befored 1953). Where I have encountered these is in the Bakersfield, CA area of CA, which was and still is a farming community. Now, why would a farmer want a five window (that would in your eyes cost more) than a three window? I still believe there were as many five's as three's, if not more. Just because I have seen many more five's than three's!!
