the vapor carb idea - never came to anything because it ain't worth the cost of the elaborate systems they come up w/ - instead the mfgr's designed the whole engine to improve the 'vaporizing'
so you really think Shell has succeeded in being more profitable by owning that patent? funny that they're the company today who's reserves are closest to being depleted w/ no new finds coming onstream - might have stretched things out if they'd helped improve mileage
just goes to show what's really useful
