That is one sharp shop. The floor plan looks like you wont ever have to sleep in the dog house. If you spend too much money or attention on your trucks and not your wife you will be comfortable in the shop with the radiant floor heat.

I am in the planning stages for my shop in Maine. I currently have a small 2 car garage in Wakefield which requires me to store many parts in my basemant. My wife hates the old truck smell in the laundry room.

The plan for Maine is a few years off but we are talking 24x40 with 12 foot walls to create a storage loft in the back half and an overhead hoisting system in the front half for cab, engines removals and such. It will be attached to the house by a breezeway. I like your idea of radiant floor heat.
